Slayers 2 Cheapskates 5
Slayers notched the first goal of the game then bumbled their way through the 2nd and 3rd periods in what turned out to be a pathetic showing against Cheapskates. SWJ, Kyle and Will brought their A games along with the rest of the Cheapskates team. The Cheapos out played the Slayers in the 2nd and 3rd with hard play and pretty goals. The Slayers did get a goal late in the game but there was not enough time to change the momentum. Stoney looked strong making a few key saves. See you guys in the finals.
Slayers look to rebound today against the Puppies. Puck drops at 4:14 Sunday April 20th.

John Gardner was seen paying the refs near the zam room after the game. At least the Avs won eh? Sorry Reeshard, but it is T-time in Mini.

It was a good game, as usual. I've been working on my rebounds of late, but apparently I need to work harder! Make sure I get an assist on your guys' first goal by the way. :-)
