Slayers Stoned By Stonewall Jackson: Slayers 2 Cheapskates 5

Slayers had one or two goals waved off in game they never got a handle on. One puck was waved off by the ref at center ice due to a crease issue, but the ref down deep near the play did not dispute the other ref. That damn Jiffy Pop ceiling blinding those refs again and just at the wrong time. It was brought up after the game, beers in hand, that another might have slipped in behind Landon but knothing came of it...whatever, the Slayers were sloppy in their own zone. They did look ok in nuetral ice and were pretty good in the Cheapskate's end of the ice. But it was Stonewall Jackson shutting the door. Landon only allowed two goals. He, along with the rest of his team were sharp. Slayers 2 Cheap 5.

Game Notes:

1) Goal: Dan, First Assist: Kevin
2) Goal: Tommy, First Assist: Scott

These might be wrong, let me know.

Slayers net minder: Dale and for Cortez Landon was between the pipes.
Slayers skated without Mike and Cory.

I only remember one goal being waved off (for being in the crease) but still, what a great game. Most fun I've had all year. Can't wait to do it again!

Thanks homies, and yeah it was nice to see us put a few in the net. We equaled our goal total for the entire season with that game. Don't know where that was during our horrid 0-3 start, but hopefully we can keep it up.

And I'm diggin your guys website, too. Let me know if I can prop it up on my myspace or something. Keep up the good work, and always watch that five hole!!!
